DEVELOPMENT OF THE BFTU STRATEGIC PLAN 2020- 2024
The commencement of the development of the BFTU strategic plan took place in August 2019
The drafting of the terms of reference and concept notes was done, and the terms of reference were developed. FES agreed to fund the project as part of the Trade Union renewal project and Dr Bashi Mothusi was engaged to assist with the development of the strategy. The EB was the focus group for the strategic plan development and the regional leaders and GC were engaged separately to contribute towards the development of the plan.
The development process took three (3) months and the strategic plan as well as the implementation plan were concluded by November 2019.
